Omeshwaree (Deepa) Bauhadoor was born and currently resides in Mauritius. She pursued her studies in arts and education in India. Her solo exhibitions include Beneath the Blue (2013) which was  a tribute to her late husband. She has also participated in exhibitions such as 6th Beijing International Art Biennale, Beijing, China (2015) amongst others.
