The A.M.M.A.A. Art Collection is a growing collection of original works created by mother artists for participation in various events, residencies and projects organised by A.M.M.A.A. The physical copies of these works constitute the permanent part of A.M.M.A.A.’s repertoire and conceives itself as a necessary contribution towards the visual expression and documentation of maternal and caregiving experiences in contemporary Asian art by mother artists. Its objective is to provide tangible form and space to the ideas behind A.M.M.A.A. which strive to centre mother-artists in discourses around art practice, curatorial frameworks and considerations in art history.
